I've decided--because I have oodles of free time--to write little stories pitting famous characters--from different companies/universes--against one another.
So, here at The WhatIf Show, you'll get to see Luke Skywalker vs. Superman, or Agent Smith vs. Sephiroth. Sound interesting?
All of these battles will occur in the What If Arena, which is, essentially, just whatever the hell I want it to be. The Arena can imitate any local in any universe, and it also has the ability to limit or completely eliminate certain powers. For instance, if we have Obi-Wan Kenobi vs. Wolverine, obviously Kenobi's use of the Force will give him an easy win. So, knowing that, I'll set the Arena to limit the power of the Force.
Another question posed was, "how do fights end?" It all depends on the stipulation. Some matches might be "Capture the Flag", and others could be death matches. All combatants will have the ability to forfeit at any point in a match. The typical way to finish a fight will be for one opponent to be rendered unable to continue.
